Hi sir,

I was assigned by one project which is basically a AC/DC converter build up with UCC28070 IC Model of TI.From TI portal i got TINA model of this IC and simulated in TINA. its running fine with good results. But there are 3 pins mismatch in TINA application model when compared with the schematic of UCC28070 datasheet. Instead of CDR,RDM and GND pins in the datasheet three other pins used in TINA model i.e. IRIPA,IRIPB and f_khz. For my design require the IC as in the datasheet. For last one month struggling with this problem.But not getting the solution. Finally got your mail id and hope you are the correct person for me to solve this problem. Please suggest me or show me path to get the TINA model of UCC28070 as in the datasheet.

Basically we do not have any other model for this part except what is offered on the WEB. I am not aware of any other part with same pinout and spec as UCC28070 with PSPICE model.

Hello Arash,

Could you help me about Tina spice? I am power design engineer and never used Tina. I down loaded Tina and ran it but I received error message.
Where should I contact to get some helps? I am working on PFC circuit design using UCC28070 and using UCC28950 for DC/DC.

Soohak,

Is this an error with the installation of TINA-TI or with the TINA-TI TSC files for these parts?
If it is an error with the TSC files, please attach it here.
If it is with the installation, can you provide us the version of TINA-TI you are trying to install.

Hello Nikhil,

What is TSC files? Error message showed up during installation.
It was Tina-TI version 9.3.150.328.

Since you have already tried the 3 fixes that Britt has made in the post below, can you try the last one he had mentioned also?

"There is a slight chance that the .zip file containing TINA-TI was damaged, so download a new copy as well. I do not know why Skype would effect this unless there was some additional blocking installed when Skype was installed."

Hello Nikhil,

I tried the last one following Britt suggestions. The same error message showed up.
Is there any way to get Tina-TI program? Like USB, CD..
Can UCC 28070 and UCC 28950 run in Pspice program?

Hi Soohak,

TINA-TI is only offered through our web site right now. I am checking with the tool developers if there is another workaround for your problem.
The PSpice models for these devices should be available:
