Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models
Customer is simulating TL072 SPICE model for below circuit. (0V output)
But the result of supply current is about 14.1mA, is it bug?
(Datasheet P13 is described 1.4mA_typ)
Best regards,
Satoshi
Hi Satoshi,
Yes this seems to be a bug in the model. There is a resistor connected between positive and negative power supply pins with a value of 2.143kOhm ( Line 32: RP 3 4 21.43E3 ). It should have been 21.43kOhm to produce the right 1.4mA supply current for 30V (+/-15V) supply. Thank you for pointing it out. We will correct it and update the model on web.
