TINA/Spice/UCC27201A: pspice model has format errors

Part Number: UCC27201A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI,

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

 pspice  models (both encrypted and un-encrypted) for ucc27201A device do not compile
in pspice (version 17)
it appears to be simple syntax error.
pspice reports error "16371" too many characters.

* Model Version: Final 1.10

in voltage source E_U5_E1  the "1.1.75" value in the table does not appear correct.
E_U5_E1         U5_THRISE VSS TABLE { V(VDD, VSS) }
 ( (8,1.45)(10,1.55)(12,1.65)(14,1.1.75)(16,1.80)(18,1.90)(20,1.95) )

the encrypted model does not compile either. similar error message.

I have corrected the E_U5_E1 and model appears to run.
I did not debug the encrypted model error.

 wonder if anyone tested these in  pspice?

  • Hi Craig,

    We did not get any syntax error while simulating in Pspice 16.2 and 17.2 version. However, we will modify the "1.1.75" value in the model and re-release it to the web.

    Thanks,
    Somen
