WEBENCH® Tools/TPS62140: Lower side feedback resistor package

Hi,

I have observed that the lower side feedback resistor package is 0603 at We-bench design and also in EVM Schematic and BOM.

The value in my design is 180K,0.1W,+/-1%

I need to use 0402 package instead of 0603.

Is there any constraint to use small size resistor at this location. Please suggest.

Hi Rajkumar,

Currently we do not have a 180K ohm resistor with 0402 package in WEBENCH database, We will inform you once it is added.

Now my question is "Is it mandatory to use 0603 package at this location(Lower side feedback resistor for IC TPS62140). Can we use 0402 package in our design?"

You can use the 0402 package resistor for lower side feedback resistor.
