TINA/Spice/TINA-TI: TPS613221A model

Dear TI,

We intend to use a TPS613221A converter. Our system however has very fast and large load variations to see the effect of that we want to runs a TINA-TI simulation. De PSPICE model of the component is encrypted making it not possible to simulate with TINA-TI. What can I do to perform a simulation?

Hi Herman,

No otherwise I would be busy simulating ;-). It is costly to buy it just for this purpose. I can completely understand that TI wants to protect it's IP what I do not understand is that TINA-TI is not able to decrypt the model and TI's customers are more or less forced to buy 3th party CAD software.

Hi Stef,

Apology, but we're still looking for a way to help you on this.

What's happening is that recently the modeling engineer that works on this part has left the company. We try to find the unencrypted version of this model on our vault system and we could not find it. I think she forgot to check the unencrypted model before she left TI.

The good news is that we have the unencrypted parent model for this one which is TPA61322. I am looking for a way to convert back TPA61322 into TPA613221A1 variation.
