Dear all,

I am also dsigning the 4 power rails using this TPS65400 chip, but as i want to use webench it don't shows the required output.

My input is 5V, 6A and I want 4 Outputs : 1) 4.1 V, 2) 3.3V, 3) 1.8V and 4) 2.5V .

But when i input my data it shows only 3 outputs and not showing 4.1V output rail.

So, I have a doubt that it will be generated using this chip or not? as I have gone through some reading it can provide output voltage in the range of 0.6V to 90%vin which is 4.5V.

I just want to confirm this before I release it for manufacturing.

Hi Krutarth,

The device is exceeding maximum duty cycle of 85% for 4.1V Vout due to which you are unable to include it in the design.
Please reduce the Vout to 3.7V to create the design.

Thanks for the prompt response but as We are at finalise stage , so Is there any way to generate 4.1V through this PMIC or not ? or else we will use Voltage divider circuit ..

Please give your thoughts.

Hi Krutarth ,

Yes you can generate the 4.1 V by increasing the VinMin from 4.5V to 5V.

Thanks again for the prompt response I have tried the same as you suggested with vin min = 5V but still it shows the same output.

Can you share me the Project detail that you have shared above ?? so that i can directly verified it and go ahead.
