Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5060, LM5060-Q1
I'm designing a system that uses a small solar panel (60watts) and a lead acid battery, and I'm thinking about using reverse polarity protection for the solar panel input and the battery input.
But most of the reverse polarity protection systems (efuses and ideal diode controllers) have reverse current protection but I require the solar panel to charge the battery as well.
So I saw this design TIDA-01167 and it looks great but the only problem that I have is that I have a limited space for my PCB board and this design requires a bunch of components and therefore a lot of space :/.
Do you guys have a solution like TIDA-01167 but a smaller size with fewer components??
I only require RPP but without RCP so that the solar panel can recharge the battery.
thank you and good day.
