Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools
For one of our application we require AC to DC converter and DC to DC converter which gives 2 selectable outputs. Our specifications is
1) AC INPUT:- 160V to 260V AC supply
DC Output 1 :- 32V with 5A current
DC output 2 :- 20V with 5A current.
Dc o/p 1 or dc o/p2 are selectable
2)DC INPUT:- 22V to 40V DC supply
DC Output 1 :- 32V with 5A current
DC output 2 :- 20V with 5A current.
Dc o/p 1 or dc o/p2 are selectable
We request you to advice how to proceed. Looking out for Minimum BOM count.
Hi Jayaprakash,
We have forwarded the query to our experts. Our experts will get back to you soon.
Thanks and Regards,

Hi Jayaprakash,
We currently do not support multi-output power supply designs in new WEBENCH power designer tool.
Alternatively, you could design each output separately.
Could you please let us know if application for DC to DC converter is isolated or non-isolated?
Please find devices that can support each output separately below.
1)AC INPUT:- 160V to 260V AC supply
DC Output 1 :- 32V with 5A current
Devices that can support output 1 (with least possible BOM count) are UCC28634 , UCC28631, UCC28632
DC output 2 :- 20V with 5A current
Devices that can support output 2 (with least possible BOM count) are UCC28634, UCC28631, UCC28632
2)DC INPUT:- 22V to 40V DC supply
DC Output 1 :- 32V with 5A current
Device that can support output 1 (with least possible BOM count) is LM25118
DC output 2 :- 20V with 5A current.
Device that can support output 2 (with least possible BOM count) is LM76005

Hi Jayaprakash,
Could you please let us know if application for DC to DC converter is isolated or non-isolated?
Thanks and Regards,
Umayal
1)AC/DC converter is isolated
2)both dc/dc converters are non isolated. Please reply.
Hi Jayaprakash,
Please find the devices that can be used in application below.
Design 1st stage AC-DC for Vin = 160 to 260, Vout = 32, Iout = 10, Isolated (UCC28634DR may not work as 320W may exceed device limits .
Resonant Flyback UCC28600, LLC controller UCC256403 can be used.

Webench design Link for UCC256403: https://webench.ti.com/appinfo/webench/scripts/SDP.cgi?ID=D4A336023BDEC386
Design 1st stage DC-DC for Vin = 22 to 40, Vout = 32, Iout = 10, Non-Isolated LM5176-Q1 can be used.
Webench design Link for LM5176-Q1: https://webench.ti.com/appinfo/webench/scripts/SDP.cgi?ID=119456685A376BF3
Design 2nd stage for Vin = 32, Vout = 20, Iout = 5, Non Isolated. (LM22677 will not work as max Vout for this device is 5V. LMR14050S or LM25088 may be good alternative considering lower BOM count ).
