WEBENCH® Tools/UCC28180: Differnce between Vout and Actual Vout

Part Number: UCC28180
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI, , LM5117, UCC28950

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hii,
i am unable to understand the reason why the Vout when expected is 390V gives output measured Voltage as 128V?
Also could you suggest me the software to simulate this Design.

Kindly find attached file

WBDesign16.pdf

  • Hi Anurag,

Yes there is a calculation error with respect to the display of output measured voltage. We have corrected it now and this will be reflected in our next production release. We have a TINA-TI simulation model and reference design in the product folder. You can use it.

    Regards,

    Atul

  • Hello Atul,

i wanted to know that this error was software error but the design was correct and wi;ll reflect correct results over hardware and also Tina-TI doesnt have UCC28180, neither it has LM5117.

So kindly suggest me a way to simulate these ICs,

Specially UCC28950, as Webench doesnt even simulate it

  • here is the screenshot for refernce

  • Hi Anurag,

You can download the tina reference design by going to the design and development option in the respective product folder of the devices.

Currently Webench does not support the UCC28950 device. But you can download the reference tina design in design and development page of the device.

For LM5117 device, you can export the design and simulate.

    Hope this answers your query.

    Regards,

    Atul
