CC2642R: Can I do some actions in idle mode?

Hello TI experts,

last time I asked about the availability of GPIO and peripherals in idle mode ;

and here is my new question,

can I do some calculations (add, subtract, etc) and compare the data after I receive through SPI and GPIO interface in idle mode?

or should I change the MCU status to active mode for data calculations and comparison?

I believe you cannot do this since CPU is off in idle mode. Maybe you can try to use sensor controller to do some calculations (add, subtract, etc) and compare the data.

I would echo YiKai's suggestion.

From the datasheet:

In Idle mode, all active peripherals can be clocked, but the Application CPU core and memory are not clocked and no code is executed. Any interrupt event brings the processor back into active mode.
