LPSTK-CC1352R: Device doesn't come up on battery power

Hello TI-Team,

for a ble demo I want to use the LPSTK-CC1352R as a slave device. If the device is connected via jtag i can flash the multi-sensor example from sdk. Further, after the flash process the device is coming up (only powered via jtag) and i can connect to my master device. If I remove the jtag connection and try to start the lpstk-cc1352R via battery, it doesn't come up. The same problem occure (without battery power) if i remove and reconnect the jtag after flashing. I have to flash the programm again for working.

Before the question is coming up: I already checked the battery for several times and i already reset the device to factory image.

Do you have any idea what the problem could be?

Hi,

Can you use a simple project from the SDK to test this?

Use LED blinking example. See if you can still see LED blinking after removing JTAG and resetting the board.

Hi,

as you mentioned i checked it with the LED blinking example...and it works without JTAG.
But, with the multi_sensor example it doesn't.

To check this issue further, I used a second LPSTK-CC1352R out of the box. This device come up as it should. Is there any "difference" in the pre-flashed code (out of the box) and the multi_sensor example in the simplelink sdk 5.10.00.48 which could explain this effect?

Hi Sebastian,

It would appear that you do not have the off-chip BIM hex flashed alongside the multi_sensor binary file. Please refer to the project README, LPSTK Out-of-Box Experience SimpleLink Academy Lab, and OAD section of the BLE5-Stack User's Guide for more information
