Hi Experts,

A customer has been trying clearing warnings with LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1 but it has not been successful. It seems that the reason is that the settings for LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1 are overlapped.
The warnings:

They configured the pin assignment by using SYSCFG tool.

After they saved their SYSCFG setting and closed, the Board gets back to "CC26X2R1 LaunchPad" below when SYSCFG is reopened.
They have tried "Show Board View" -> "Use Custom Board" and deselect "Lock PinMux" option. However the result is the same.

Could you please let us know what causes the warnings?
Could you please let us know the correct settings for "Switch Board or Device" in "Show Device View"?

Hello,

I'm unable to reproduce this on the latest SDK (v5.10). Can you tell me which SDK you are using?

Hi Ammar-san,

The SDK version is SimpleLinkCC13x2 26x2 SDK 4.30.0.54.
Could you please check this?

Hi Hitoshi-san,

4.30 SDK does not support the switch board or device function in sysconfig, it sounds like the customer is using older sdk with newer CCS which causes this trouble.

The 4.30 SDK uses sysconfig version 1.6 however, the board migration feature is implemented in 4.40SDK with sysconfig version 1.7.

Please inform them to move to our newest SDK which included bug fixes and new features.

One more thing, the switch device/board feature is still in beta release. Can you specify what change they want to do, we can help them without using sysconfig.

Is the switch device / board is still in beta with the newest simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_5_10_00_4?
The customer would like to use Sysconfig tool locally by themselves because it is very useful.
They would like to know the final version release schedule.

Hi Hitoshi-san,

Yes, the board migration feature will stay in beta version until 5.30 SDK and there will be constant improvements/bug fixes even after 5.30 SDK.

The board migration(changes) from CC2652 LP to CC2642 device is very little, and I don't think they are going to benefit much from that feature as the driverlib files for both devices are the same.
