CC2541: BLE4.0 or BLE5.0 in CC2541?

Good day.

Our customer has this question regarding the CC2541:

"I would like to make it clear what Bluetooth core is in CC2541. In (SWRS110D –JANUARY 2012–REVISED JUNE 2013) in said that it has BLE 4.0. But here (www.ti.com/.../CC2541) is said that it has BLE 5.0. Could you clarify? I would like to use extra MTU ib my project that is available in BLE 5.0. "

Hi Cedrick,

The device is qualified for BLE 5.0, but it only supports the mandatory features in the specification which is basically was was available in BLE4.0.
