LP-CC2652RSIP: PER measurement with SmartRF Studio

Hi,

My customer wants to measure PER with SmartRF Studio.
Two LP-CC2652RSIP boards are used.
According to the original thread, PER can be measured by setting one board as "Packet TX", another board as "Packet Rx".

Customer wants to use different PDU payload packets each time.
Is this possible? If so how?

I suppose you can select HEX and input your own packet data to make it.

Hi Koichiro,

Do they want each packet to be different or change after an iteration of the number of identical test packets being sent? Are they sure that the Random option cannot be used for their testing purposes? Please refer to the SmartRF Studio 7 Documentation for all tool options.

What customer wants to do is like this.
- Packet size is 37bytes
- Total packets are 1500 packets
- Each 37bytes are different data (1500 different packets are prepared)

Maybe try to use PER example to do this.

This is not possible with SmartRF Studio. I agree with YiKai that it would be better to use the PER examples.
