CC2564C: OpenStack Fails with STM32F407

...working on CC2564C with STM32F407.

Compiler: Keil uvision 5.25.3.0 with MDK -ARM toolchain 5.25.2.0

SDK : CC2564CSTBTBLESW-v4.2.1.1

Sample Project code : SPPDemo

RTOS : FreeRTOS

I followed the swru498a.pdf as well as Enable_STM32_Discovery.pdf for the same. But I seeing OpenStack get failed. Can you let me know anything else am I need to follow to resolve this issue? By the way I already double check the same CC2565C radio board with MSP432 evaluation board and it works perfectly.

So, the Radio board is fine.

Hi Antenna_Head,

Do you get any errors after the OpenStack() routine prints in the console? Perhaps your issue is related to this E2E thread. Please post the error shown in the terminal and we can continue to debug.

Hi Jacob,

I checked with E2E thread you mentioned, but I already taken care of the following items as per Enable_STM32_Discovery.pdf (located under C:\ti\Connectivity\CC256X BT\CC256x STM32 Bluetopia SDK\v4.2.1.1\FreeRTOS\Documentation)

1. HSE_VALUE to 8000000 under project setting
2. Platform/HALCFG.h modification as per document
3. Remove the HCITRANS.c file from the Bluetopia Group. Add Bluetopia/hcitrans/HCITRANS.c file to the Bluetopia Group.
4. change HCITR pin configurations in Bluetopia/hcitrans/HCITRCFG.h as per document

I also make sure the J1 to J6 jumper position change from Eval to Discovery in CC256XEM-STADAPT v1.0 board

I used IAR as well as Keil FreeRTOS as well as NoOS. In all all condition I am having issue in BSC_Initialize(), as it return -4

The error shown in terminal is

stack init failed -4

Unable to open the stack.
