CC2541DK-SENSOR: How to calibrate

As I know, CC2541DK-SENSOR uses tmp006 as temperature sensor and application should not have to do calibration. Do you use TI default application and read such strange temperature? I would suggest you to trace and debug to temperature reading related codes to know why it acts badly.

What SimpleLink Starter firmware version has been programmed to the CC2541DK-SENSOR? What version is the SimpleLink Starter App they are referencing?  There are no calibration techniques but you could evaluate other SensorTag modules or batteries.  Here are some relevant E2E threads you can reference as well:

The customer is using  the SensorTag application, Firmware Revision 1.4 (Jul 12 2013). Is there a way to calibrate the device?

Maybe try to open and build SensorTag example in BLE stack 1.05.02.00 to do calibration in application.

Calibration does not seem to be the issue based on the value of the reading provided, as YK had mentioned earlier they will need to monitor the temperature sensor output with an oscilloscope and debug the CC2541 ADC code to discover the root cause.  Are they reading the temperature locally or through the SimpleLink Starter Application?  Using the updated stack could provide more assistance.
