Hi team,
Per the related thread, do we have any recommended bidirectional couplers that can be used for antenna monitoring/protection?
Thanks,
Jacob

Hi Jacob,
Our hardware experts will be back on Monday. Please expect an answer at that date.

Hi Jacob,
As of my knowledge TI does not make bidirectional couplers. I will transfer this thread to the correct TI team anyway in case they have some recommendation. They will come back to you.

Hi HG,
I understand we don't make bidirectional couplers, but since we have (I assume) done previous designs with bidirectional couplers, do we have any recommended components that we've worked with and used in previous reference designs or test builds?
Hi Jacob,
I do not have any specific coupler to suggest.
It's important to note that the choice of bidirectional coupler depends on various factors, including the frequency range, power levels. Based on these factors you need to choose coupling factor and higher directivity on the bidirectional coupler will help in accurate measurements.

Hi Hruday,
Thanks for the comment. Do we have any application notes or white papers on the subject?
Hi Jacob,
We have not used any specific coupler in application notes. However you can find some couplers here depending on your band of operation and power levels. Let me know once you choose something, I can review.

Hruday
