Part Number: CC2652R7
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH
Hi,
SDK using : simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk_7_10_01_24
Code Using : simple_peripheral_LP_CC2652R7_tirtos7_ticlang
CCS Version : 12.1.0.00007
Uniflash version using : TI Uniflash (Version: 8.4.0.4458)
1) Assuming Public address of the CC2652R7 chipset is a Primary BLE Address which we are able to read from the uniFlash tool -> Settings & Utilities -> Primary BLE Address
Got 80:6F:B0:EE:AE:D4 Here "80:6F:B0" This 3 bytes representing TI's(Texas Instruments) Organisationally Unique Identifier(OUI)
2) If my customer want to go for production. They are willing to use their own OUI which they want to register it as pe IEEE 802-2001 standards. Now TI's OUI(Primary BLE Address in Uniflash tool) is silicon generate So, not able to change it. If I want to use my customer OUI Shall I use the "Secondary BLE Address" section in uniFlash tool -> Settings & Utilities -> Secondary BLE Address
Screen shots for Primary, Secondary BLE Address and Primary IEEE Address in UniFlash :

My Testing scenario :
If I write the "Secondary BLE Address" in flash using uniflash tool then the corresponding chip is not taking the "Primary BLE Address" for further advertisment and connection activity It is using the "Secondary BLE Address" only.
Queries :
1) Shall I use this way to assign MAC address for each chip by using my customer registered OUI ?
2) What is difference between "Primary BLE Address" and "Primary IEEE Address" in uniFlash tool -> Settings & Utilities
