Hello Team,
We tried thread shade program and its working good but Bluetooth (Project zero) is not working on custom board with cc2752R7. Can u please recommend some directions . Attaching schematic file and BOM file for reference
Hello Sarbjeet,
How are you programming project_zero? This project necessitates that a valid off-chip BIM hex image be programmed alongside the application binary image, have you already achieved this as well? What happens if you try to use a non-OAD project such as simple_peripheral instead? Have you tested the RF integrity using Smart RF Studio 7?
Regards,
Ryan
Hello Ryan,
I first erase and flash valid chiip-BIM hex image and then project zero image .... as i do in LP-CC2652R7. and its working in Launchpad with same procedure but not in the custom board... I cant understand that once the "Shade " programme is running well (means Joining thread network, and responding to Coap commands) that too from more than 20 mtrs but bluetooth program not working. Please throw some light....
Thank you for the additional context. I would still prefer for you to try with simple_peripheral (non-OAD) and test the BLE PHYwith Smart RF Studio 7. Does your custom board include the same external flash memory SPI device as with the LaunchPad, including similar pin designations? How are you migrating the project for your board and have you followed the Custom Hardware suggestions? Have you tried debugging the code to further determine the issue? You can submit your design to SIMPLELINK-2-4GHZ-DESIGN-REVIEWS for further review from the SimpleLink HW Team.
Regards,
Ryan
Hello Ryan,
Thank you for the directions. Also forwarded the mail for design review as suggested. In this forum I can check the status of my queries but how can I get the update of my further review or acknowledgement of mail I sent...
You can expect a response from the hardware design review between three days to a week.

Ryan
Ok Thanku .. one more thing the software u recommended for RF is only for windows ... is there any alternative for Ubuntu...? im using ubuntu 22.04
There is not a TI RF tool alternative available for Linux. You can still test simple_peripheral.

Ryan
Hi,
You need to make sure your BIM project GPIO's are correct and no conflict.
