Exchange messages after establishing BLE connection

Hi,

I want to exchange messages between two bleutooth low energy devices after establishing connection, for example:

Device_A sends: "Hello B, How are you ?"

Device_B answers: "Hello A, I'm fine"

Is-it possible to do this in Bleutooth low energy without using any profile ?

Could you please tell me if there is anything in specification 4.0 describing how to do this using samples commands and without using any profiles?

Do you have any offer to do this ?
