BLE device monitor v2.1.2: no message displayed in Event log window once connection is established between CC2540 USB dongle and CC2650 device

Hello,

I want to report a possible bug in BLE device monitor version2.1.2 that there is no message displayed in the Event log window (as shown below), once my peripheral CC2650 device establishes connections with CC2540 USB dongle, while you can see the received message keeps incrementing at the bottom right corner of BLE device monitor

I don't really know how this happened...It worked just fine yesterday.

I tried to re-install BLE device monitor version 2.1.2, but doesn't seem to help.

I also re-programmed CC2540 USB dongle, as well as CC2650 device, and the problem remains.

Could anyone kindly tell me how to fix this?

Hello Xiaoxiao,

Your screen shot shows "SimpleBLEPeripheral connected". Is this the working or non-working case? Can you show the non working case?

Hi JXS,

This is a non-working case.

The connection can be established, as indicated by "SimpleBLEPeripheral connected".

But the problem is no message is shown in the Event log, while you can see the received message keeps incrementing at the bottom right corner of BLE device monitor.

Please note that to get ALL messages logged you need to tick 'Verbose'.
