CC2564B Interfacing with GSM Module and Host Controller.

Hi TI Team,

We are using CC2564B Chip for one of our project.

I have directly Interfaced AUD_SYNC,AUD_CLK,AUD_IN,AUD_OUT pins of CC2564B with four I2S line of GSM Module.

Also I have Interfaced HCI_Rx & HCI_Tx with TM4C1230H6PM as per H5 protocol.

We wanted to establish Hands free Audio connection between our device and Customer end device.

Is it necessary to Interface Codec IC ?

Hi Rajesh,

No, it is not necessary as you are using the assisted mode.

Hi Sundeep,

Due to size constraint we are using chip antenna with CC2564B.

And we have selected antenna from the make Johnson Technology with part no : 2450AT42A100.

Is it right choice ?

Hi Rajesh M,

I think the below link should answer your question(see the Antenna Design Guide)

Also Is it a right choice depends on what you want to achieve. But that antenna should work with our device.

Bluetooth forum
