2650STK Motion Sensor Not Working

I recently sent a couple of brand new 2650STKs (received via estore.ti.com) to a customer and they were not able to get the motion sensor working. Please see the following previous posts:

Do you know if there is a problem with the latest versions of 2650STKs getting the motion sensor to work and if so, what was the issue with these posts above?  Please advise.

    There was an issue in the sensor tag v1.2 firmware. This has since been fixed. You can remedy this issue by downloading our latest stack release (BLE v2.1) and flashing the sensor tag with the .hex file included in the Accessories folder of the BLE stack install.
