Bluetooth 4.0 BLE Extended Range Receiver

I am monitoring products outdoors that are equipped with an HM-10.  Currently we can receive the broadcast reliably at 30 feet, dropping off after that.

I have found a device on TI's site at http://www.ti.com.cn/cn/lit/ug/tidu676/tidu676.pdf which appears to be an answer to my problem, but am unsure if this a product actually produced by TI.  Is this a solution, or something I would have to produce.

    We do support this range extender: www.ti.com/.../cc2590

    If you are designing this for the receiver side, the RX Sensitivity should give 3dB improvement. For the transmitter side, the output power is also high (14dBm), which should give extended range.

    Zahid is correct that we are making a CC26xx-CC2590 design for BLE (not completed yet). Preliminary performance show 10 dBm output power (to be BLE compliant, max EIRP is 10 dBm) and apprioximately -99 dBm sensitivity.

    However, if you only get 30 feet, it sounds like your design is not optimal and that there is room for improvement. You should expect more, see  Do you have any of our kits to do range testing in your environment? Have you done any conducted measurements with your HW? What SW do you use? Do you set the correct front-end configuration in your SW? Can you post your schematic and layout? Have you tuned the antenna?
