CC2650: Antenna Diversity

Hi TI Experts,

We got some questions about antenna diversity design. So, please let me confirm them.
[Question.1]
Can CC2650 support the Antenna diversity function?
According tothe datasheet, it seems TI provide the antenna diversity design on Figure7-1.

[Question.2]
If yes, does TI provide the sample code for Antenna diversity?
Where can we get them?

[Question.3]
If Q1 answer is yes, which antenna design as below will be good RF performance?
1. Antenna Select Switch + Differential Antenna
2. Single ended operation with 2 antennas.
Also please teach me the reason why you select.

[Question.4]
According to the TRM, it seems that TI provides the command for antenna diversity on in frontEndMode with CMD_RADIO_SETUP. Would you please teach me the detail of"0x3" and "0x4" (Antenna diversity)? How to use this command?

Hello Kaka,

Antenna diversity is not possible in BLE due to the way in which packets are transmitted. You can refer to this discussion: e2e.ti.com/.../1913803
