CC2640R2F: Cannot search the launch pad with the example code of OAD

Hi TI team,

I want to test the function of OAD and I upgraded a example code of OAD (simple_peripheral_cc2640r2lp_app_oad_offchip, bim_oad_offchip_cc2640r2lp_app) on my launch pad.

Then, I used the software of BTool and a APP of SimpleLink to scan my launch pad but I could not find my device.

Could you help me to check it? or DO I miss somethings so I cannot find it?

Hi Lawrence,

Which version of the SimpleLink CC2640R2 SDK are you using? Are you following the guidance in the OAD guide?

If you flash a non-OAD Simple Peripheral onto the device, can you see it advertising?

Hi Rachel,

My SDK is simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_1_35_00_33__win. I followed the guidance in the OAD guide.

I also tried to upgrade the example code of glucose_sensor that came from SDK of simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_ble_example_pack_1_35_00_37 and I could scan my device(launch pad).

Could you help me to check it?

Hi,

I have tried the CCS Off-Chip OAD at SDK v1.35 BLE 5 and it works. But the IAR workbench Off-Chip OAD has problems. Details are in this post below.

Hi Kel,

I do not use the SDK of V1.35 BLE5 under the folder of ble5stack for OAD Off-Chip . I used the SDK of V1.35 BLE under the folder of blestack for OAD Off-Chip .
Could you tell me what the difference between both? And I will try to flash the SDK of V1.35 BLE5 for OAD off-chip as well.
