CC2640R2F: Assistance with BLE design

Hi,

I am trying to develop an activity tracker with BLE enabled for which I wish to go with CC2640R2F RSM chip. I have started with a basic schematic for the same. Can anyone assist me by checking for errors and suggest some improvements? I am attaching the schematics with this thread. And please let me know whether I can use this chip antenna here.activity watch_01.pdf

Hi,

If your design is based from the CC2640R2 Launchpad then there is a high chance that it will work.

Hi Prashanth,

You seem to be using the RF match for the WCSP reference design. I would recommend that you look at CC2650EM-4XS instead, as this is for the QFN packages.

Hi Fredrik,

Thanks for the immediate reply. I am a beginner for this RF antenna designs and stuffs. That is one of the reasons for me to verify the design. Thanks for your help. I am attaching the modified schematic. Please tell me whether I can use this chip antenna here (Instead of "A1" in the schematics)?

Hi Prashanth,

The RF match is now correct. The PCB antenna can be replaced with any 2.4 GHz antenna, including chip variants.
