Hi,

We already have CC2564MODN certified and in use. A specific project we are working on only needs BLE and not classic (so essentially we don't need the Dual mode) but there is no value proposition in buying a BLE only device.

Can this IC be run BLE Mode only to save power? If so, how?

Which, host are you using? Essentially, after enabling LE mode, Disable AFH and Scan modes as below..

HCI_Write_AFH_Channel_Assessment_Mode(BluetoothStackID, HCI_AFH_CHANNEL_ASSESSMENT_MODE_CONTROLLER_ASSESSMENT_DISABLED, &Status);

HCI_Write_Scan_Enable(BluetoothStackID, HCI_SCAN_ENABLE_NO_SCANS_ENABLED, &Status);
