Hi all
We have been looking at the precertified QDID for cc2560 on Bluetooth launch studio and found these:

My question is regarding the split firmware: There is the app and stack part. I’m guessing that the firmware was built this way in order to be able to test and certify the BLE stack and still have a custom firmware in the same MCU? Our contact regarding BLE certification is a bit worried that we have modified the application side of the firmware, he’s wondering if we will have to do a new testing and certification procedure because of this?

It might turn out that we want to use that one instead so i'm also wondering if they fill the same role, ie would a change of stack only equate to us changing the qdid reference? They have quite a different description.
So in essence:
- are these QDIDs correct for us?
- Is the application-part of the firmware related to the BLE SIG certification? Or is the HW and stack pre-certification enough?
- Can we change between 4.1 & 4.2 this easily from a certification standpoint? (up till the certification is done/started at least)
