Linux/CC2564: imx6 and bluez

Bluez is not supported internally by TI and I don't think we have used it internally with CC256x.
The stack that is supported directly by TI is the TI BLuetooth stack:

Humm.. Though BlueZ is not supported internally, CC2564x should also work with Bluez. Make sure, the relevant BT scripts are in the firmware folder.. From the interface (HCI, BT_EN) point of view there is no difference between WL18xx and CC22564c. However, there are limitations wrt using BLE and assisted modes at the same time on CC256X. Please, check the data sheet...

actually I am using CC2560 with imx6.
- the hardware signals on chip is OK(clks and EN ..)
- bts file is loaded (I can see it by means of oscilloscope and also in the kernel log)
- protocol is HCI and uart H4
the errors are:
- kernel log says: Bluetooth: hci0: Frame reassembly failed (-84)
- kernel log: Bluetooth: hci0: command 0x1003 tx timeout
- kernel log: Bluetooth: hci0: command 0x1001 tx timeout
- kernel log: Bluetooth: hci0: command 0x1009 tx timeout

also in user-space i terminal: 'hcitool' and 'blutoothctl' commands don't see any device.

I see, with CC2560, there could be an issue. This is because CC2560 is a classic device and Bluez expects the controller to respond to LE related querries. If, you use CC2564B, which is a dual mode device, it should work with Bluez.

So if I want to continue with chip CC2560B I need to use Bluetopia PM instead of Bluez right?

if yes, how to recompile it for imx? is there a recipe?

Yes.. better to use BluetopiaPM. The instructions for getting the stack are here -

Since, it is a classic only device do not use LE functionality..

i downloaded it and install on ubuntu.(it didnt got install on my imx) i figured it just decompressing files.
now there are lots of directory and files inside it (AM533x..)
how do i use it in side my target rootfs?
it needs to be ported?
for example how to configure the uart channel for it?
