CC2540: Bluetooth SIG reference approval

We tried to get Bluetooth SIG approval for the old design which included CC2540. We managed to find QDID number for CC2540 but Bluetooth SIG stated that QDID 23454 implements a deprecated specification. The design cannot be incorporated into new designs, unless the new design complies with a version of the specification that has not been deprecated or withdrawn.

Is there newer version from CC2540 that complies with Bluetooth SIG?

Hi Ari,
Our BT4.0 QDIDs are valid for new certifications until Feb 2022. However, we are also in the process of renewing the qualification.

Hi,

We are using CC2540F256 chip. What is valid QDID for that? It seems that one we have used (23454, TCRL Version Core 4.0 TCRL-2009-1) is not valid any more.
