CC2640R2F: RF certification fail at item RF-PHY TRM-LE-CA/BV-03-C

Hi Jo,

In your test report the in-band emissions on most channels are are just below the limit of -30 dBm while some is above the limit. This is about 20 dB higher that what we normally see on this type of tests (see example below):

Do they have s spectrum analyzer available? If so, output a RF CW on the board (can use SmartRF Studio) and capture the entire BLE frequency band (2402 MHz to 2480 MHz)?

What SDK are they using?

Can you share the schematic and layout for the custom board?

Hi Charles,

The spectrum in your last post does not match the results from the Bluetooth tester in your first post. You can see that the inband spurs are much lower than reported by the BLE tester. 

What test instrument did you use for the original test?

Hi team,

The lab said the "TRM-LE-CA-BV-03-C" test item follow Bluetooth test spec. (with standard HCI command.)
