Team,
For the CC2640R2F we support range extenders CC2590 and CC2592. Are these range extenders compatible with CC2642R? If a customer would like a class 1 solution using CC2642R (which by itself is a class 2), could they use this range extender? Do we have reference designs for this? 3P solution is OK
Hi,
Please see this: https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-connectivity/other-wireless/f/667/t/813563?CC2652R-CC2562-RF-Booster
Thanks
The CC2590 and the CC2592 can be used with the CC2642R. For the latter you can use this reference design: www.ti.com/.../TIDC-CC2650-CC2592-EMK
For the former there is an internal design which I do not have access to any more :-)
Of course, using the CC2652P will be a more integrated solution with less complexity. It can also be configured for 10 dBm operation: Optimizing the SimpleLink CC1352P for Coin Cell Operation at 10 dBm Output Power (Rev. B)
