CC2540: How to use BTOOL with CC2540 USB Dongle?

Hi engineers,

I can use Packet Sniffer to detect BLE devices, but cannot use BTool. I've programmed the flash image "sniffer_fw_cc2540_uart.hex" and plugged the CC2540 USB Dongle into my computer, but failed to install the driver.

To work with Btool, you should download CC2540_USBdongle_HostTestRelease_All.hex instead of sniffer_fw_cc2540_uart.hex into your CC2540 USB dongle. I attach CC2540_USBdongle_HostTestRelease_All.hex for your reference.

Thanks. I've programmed the flash image as you said and worked it out :)

By the way, if your computer cannot install the driver of "TI CC2540 USB CDC" automatically, you can download it from path "C:\Texas Instruments\BLE-CC254x-1.5.1.1\Accessories\Drivers\ccxxxx_usb_cdc.cat" manually.
