Hi,

A customer is developing a smartpen and is urgently looking for a replacement.

The existing product is MT2523, and the datasheet is attached.

Please recommend a replacement product with a product that meets the criteria below.

- Arm Cortex-M4 level

- Memory 4MB

- Bluetooth 4.2

- 6*6 size inside and outside

Also, please recommend BT single chip.

Hi MJ,

If both BT classic and an on-chip ARM M4 MCU is required, then there is no TI device that fits those requirements.

The CC2564C has BT classic, but doesn't have an MCU.

The CC2642 has an ARM M4 MCU, but doesn't have BT classic support, only BLE.

I would suggest you see if a BLE-based approach would work, given the low-power savings that would be possible in such a case and consider the CC26xx devices.
