Hello,
We need urgent TI advisory about MSP-EXP430G2ET and RF430FRL152H Sensor Label using together.
The problem is: we cannot establish the proper communication between the MSP-EXP430G2ET Demo Board and the PC.
We use the following Out-of-Box demo:
https://dev.ti.com/gallery/view/3491167/MSP-EXP430G2ET_OOB_GUI/ver/1.0.0/
We follow all the instructions, but we see neither changes in GUI status, nor the Demo Board responding (indication LEDs brightness changing).
So we need to know:
Thanks in advance and BR
Hello Joel,
I think this Out-of-Box demo has nothing to do with RF430FRL152H.
What you would need for the RF430FRL152H demo GUI is a DLP-7970ABP BoosterPack attached to the MSP430G2ET LaunchPad. This is then the reader unit.
On the other side (Tag side) you would need the RF430FRL152HEVM (https://www.ti.com/tool/RF430FRL152HEVM) standalone or together with the Sensor Hub BoosterPack plug-in module. Alternatively you can use just the RF430FRL152H Patch. I guess, this is what you probably have.
So your hardware setup would look like this:
From software side you would need the RF430FRL152HEVM Windows GUI (http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/slac692) and the MSP430G2ET Firmware (http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/sloc346).
You can find more details on how to setup the demo system in the RF430FRL152HEVM Users Guide (https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slau607).
Best regards,
Andreas.
