Hello,

I am working with the RF430FRL152H chip. I see in some sample designs of TI such as the Battery-less NFC/RFID Temperature Sensing Patch, other TI boards (MSP-EXP430FR4133, DLP‑7970ABP) are required. But if I want to use an NFC-enabled smartphone to read data from a RF430FRL152H-based sensor tag, does TI support any sample code to program the RF430FRL152H chip for this application? thank you.

Depends what you want to do with the RF430FRL152H. See if this E2E post helps: e2e.ti.com/.../602633

If you want further ideas, we need to know more about what you want to do. NDEF, using ROM Sensor stack, etc.

Hello Ralph,

I want to use an NFC-enabled smartphone to get data from the tag via NDEF like in TIDA-00721. That's why I am looking for the sample code to program the RF430FRL152H.

Hello Ralph,

I am looking for the firmware provided by TI because I am not good at working with MCUs. I see the NFC project for RF430FRL152H in slac691f, was it developed for the application I mentioned? is it going to send any data to a smartphone if I load that code to the RF430FRL152H? If not, could you please suggest what I should do to send some simple data (a text) to the smartphone via NDEF. Thank you!

Hello Binh,

Yes that example would work with smartphones that support reading NDEF messages from Type 5 tags.
