Hi Support team,
My customer is looking for a compatible device for TMS3705.
Is TMS37157 wireless protocol and wired protocol compatible with TMS3705?
I received this question from a customer.
I'm not familiar with RFID devices, so I apologize for the ambiguous question, but I would be grateful if you could give me an answer.
Best regards,
Katsuhiro
Hi Support team,
I'm waiting for your answer, suggestion, advice or any. Can anyone respond to my question?
Best regards,
Katsuhiro
Hello,
the TMS37157 is compatible with the TMS3705.
The TMS3705 is the base-station IC and the TMS37157 is the transponder IC.
More compatible devices are listed in the datasheet of the TMS3705.
Best regards,
Andreas.
Hello, Andreas
Thank you very much for your answer.
The wireless protocol compatibility can be understandable, but can you tell me more about wired protocol compatibility? From a hardware perspective, the TMS3705 uses SCIO and TXCT, and the TMS37157 uses 3-wire SPI. The customer's question would be whether TMS37157 can be used as a replacement for TMS3705. Given that the TMS3705 is the base station IC and the TMS37157 is the transponder IC, the functionality of the two devices looks to be different.
Best regards,
Katsuhiro
