Part Number: TRF7960

Dear colleagues, I maked and tested this application with TRF7960 and switches. It's running fine with antennas like your training board. I need your support about how i can built antennas 44x5'5 cm (official chess table). 
At least a sketch of the shape of the antenna because I don't know if a square antenna will run fine. Once this issue is solved, we will can build our product with TRF7960.

    Hello,

    Unfortunately that is not something we can help with as that is an application specific consideration.

    I will say this much, the theory from the prior thread still applies, and what you need to consider is the size of the tags on the chess pieces vs the size of the antennas. As long as the antennas generate enough energy to read the tags, that should be sufficient.
