CC2500: Spurious emission out of SPEC.

Hi Sir,

I use CC2500 test RF performance, and find out CC2500’s Spurious emission was out of SPEC at 4.8GHz ( Test result and schematic as below picture ) .

So is there any Suggestion to improve it?

From the plot it looks like you are in RX, could you confirm?

If so, you are seeing VCO leakage which is very layout dependent. See e2e.ti.com/.../279499 with some comments.

You could try to change the decoupling caps on the VDD lines. You would need a value that is suitable to prevent 4.8 GHz to get into a PCB track that could work as an antenna.
