CC8530: How to use PurePath Wireless Commander

Part Number: CC8530

Thank you for your reply. Daniel

At the testing institute, measure as follows.

Measure 3 channels each in listen mode (1 channel, 9 channels, 18 channels) with an RF test laboratory.

As for the measurement, it is possible to inject unfaithfully with the RX receiving santo and measure whether it is transmitted at -57 dBm or more.

How should I use PurePath Wireless Commander to switch to listen mode for each channel (1CH, 9CH, 18CH) for measurement?

Please explain how to use it.

Best regards.

  • Ym Kim,

Can you use the RX/TX test in PurePath Wireless Commander to accomplish this? I'm not exactly sure what you are looking to test, but the Rx/Tx Test allows you to specify the Frequency and Power so you can configure a TESTER and SALVE to Tx and Rx at specific channels, respectively. In this case, I'm testing channel 9 (2442MHz)

You can also use the Rx/Tx test to Tx at a desired frequency and use the Rx production to test the Rx. In this case, I'm only transmitting on Channel 9 so the test results are as expected.

What we want to measure is how to do spurious check while RX is stopped.

And you will need the PurePath Wireless Commander User Manual.

    Best regards.

  • Ym Kim,

Can you provide more information about the exact tests you are trying to run? I'm not sure why the RSSI test (RX/TX test) or one of the production tests won't suit your needs.

You can find the PurePath Wireless Commander User Manual by navigating to "Help" > "PPW Commander Help" in the PPW Commander application.

    Daniel

  • Hello.  Daniel

In RX/TX Test Control, the red part does not change as shown in the attached picture.

  • You need to name the devices TESTER and SLAVE, then program them with the tester and production test software respectively.

    Daniel
