Dear TI Engineers and Experts,
I have my own mini wi-sun network up now and I can get its GUI.
I am very happy with it. Now, I want to go one step further.
Can I export this GUI (client side I guess) to TI GUI Composer, adding some sensor readings and new GUI items, and then export back to the WiSun GUI as the new web portal?
Hi Tim,
Glad you liked it. This new GUI was developed with React Framework. It would not be possible to use GUI composer studio to modify this front end. We did not plan for active support on modifying this GUI, since it was meant to be a tool to evaluate the WiSUN network.
But I will check with RnD to see if there is any easy way to enable modifying the GUI.
Regards,
Sid
Hello Siddanth,
I have also found a small bug of these wisun gui portal.
Very often, the "Network Name" defined within the Code Composer Studio simplelink sysconfig of my wisun network cannot be displayed correctly in the wisun gui portal (attachment).
It do appear in certain situation but most often it does not. I have tried 3 different border router hosts with wisun stack installed, namely, TI SK AM64x, Raspberry Pi 4B, Ubuntu 22.04.
You can also see this bug from TI's own example portal shown on the first thread of this post.
Thanks Tim, I have filed a bug ticket for this. Hope this is not a blocking issue for you?
