LP-CC1352P7: How to white-label Wi-SUN Network Portal?

Part Number: LP-CC1352P7

Dear TI Engineers,

Finally, I have completed my test Wi-SUN Network on a Raspberry Pi 4.  I can also run the built-in Wi-SUN monitor web portal.

Now, my question is:

  • How do we customise the portal network name as shown in my attached screenshot?  If we are going to commercialise it, we need our own network name.

  • Hi  Tim,

    ti-wisun-webapp\client\src\components\DashTitle.tsx

This is the file that has the title Your Wi-SUN Network.

    Regards,
    Sid

  • Hello Sid,

    Yes, it works.  Thanks.

    My 2nd question is:

    • When a 3rd party or TI wi-sun node or border router joins another existing Wi-SUN mesh, which network ID must it present?  panid, networkname or both?

    Yours faithfully,
    Timmy

  • Hi Tim,

Typically when a router node wants to join a particular border router, you need the same network name. The PAN ID is received by the router node when it selects a border router.
    Regards,

    Sid
