Hi.

We plan to switch from the cc430F5137 processor to the cc430F5147 processor. However, we are experiencing problems due to the incompatibility of RTCs. We are working with 2uA current in lpm3 using cc430F5137 RTC mode. Battery consumption is very important to us. Can we provide these values with 32khz crystal in cc430F5147 RTC mode? Or will our current consumption have to increase?

Hi,

My interpretation of the respective datasheets is that the CC430F5137 LPM3 (RTC mode) has the same current consumption as the CC430F5147 LPM3 (RTC mode), in addition to (the CC430F5147 having) a Real-Time Clock (RTC) Only Mode (LPM3.5) with a current consumption of 1.0 µA .
