Hi,
Was wondering if you still have an archive available for access of the Design files for CC1310 Launchxl Rev 1.4.1 PG2.1?
Would be the PCB, Gerber, Drill, BOM info. I just have a schematic Rev 1.3 Jan 21, 2016.
I know about the newer, larger cc1310 board. I already own a few of those and access to those design files. Was just looking for the older, smaller board info. I also already own a few of the CC1350US launchpads and access to those design files.
The smaller form factor board is an attractive place to start modifying for a custom board design.
Thanks, and regards,
Dan
Hi Dan,
The Launchpad ref design is available here: https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/swrc319
If you are looking for the smaller EM board and which package size ?
We have the reference design for all three package sizes of CC1310 (4x4 mm, 5x5 mm & 7x7 mm).
Thanks, however, I was looking for the Rev 1.4.1, PG 2.1 board. It is about 95 mm in length.
This new board, the one you provided is about 120 mm in length.
Perhaps the new board was designed to extend the internal Antenna away from the jumper pins?
I have been using the old short boards for years now without issue in prototypes and just now looking to modify the layout without modifying position of RF components or the internal Antenna.
I will be removing all of the jumper pins and emulation related items and adding custom features.
Does the older archive still exist?
Hi,
I've uploaded the LAUNCHXL-CC1310 v1.4.0 design files here; /cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/156/LAUNCHXL_2D00_CC1310-v1.4.0.zip
However, there is no advantage to using this over the latest (and recommended) reference design. The size of the LaunchPad does not affect the recommended RF layout (but does affect the antenna matching which should be adjusted for your board regardless) and the latest version should be used.
You can shorten the length of the 50 Ohm RF trace between the last decoupling capacitor and the antenna matching components (or SMA port) of the latest design:
As an aside, the correct Cadence design file for the latest LaunchPad version can be found here: https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-connectivity/sub-1-ghz-group/sub-1-ghz/f/sub-1-ghz-forum/1136018/launchxl-cc1310-correct-dimension
Regards.
