Running Per Test example with CC2541 - Doesn't Work

I am trying to run the Per Test example code on the CC2541 (instead of the CC2543). I changed the chip=2541 define in the projects Preprocessor defined symbols section to chip=2543. I also changed the target to CC2543.

The code compiles. However, the app does not run. The program does not even clear the LCD Screen properly and put up the new LCD messages.

I am using the RF05 evaluation board with a CC2541EM.

The code has defines in it to support the  CC2541. How come this does not work?

    Hello Bob, 

    Are you referring to the PER test (CC254x PER Test (Rev. A)) available from the CC2543 product page?

    This does not support the CC2541, the next version to be released this year will support CC2541 as well. The few defines you see does not cover the needed changes for the code to run on the CC2541.
