Is SMART TRX EB necessity for c1200 Evaluation module kit?

hello,

           I just want to know whether the Smart TRX EB is required if i use cc1200 Evaluation module kit.I know that Smart TRX EB has MSP430 MCU but, can i use c1200 EMK With other MCU'S With SPI??Thank you..

    You can connect CC1200EM to any MCU board. Strap wires for the SPI and GDO lines from the MCU board to CC1200EM

    The TRXEB is not necessary in order to evaluate CC1200 since this can be done with any uP. However, the main benefit with the TRXEB is that the CC1200 can be plugged in and the SmartRF test suite can be used directly which will help reduce design and debugging time.
