CC1310: Communication failure of CC1310 with different package

Part Number: CC1310

Hi All,

One of our projects using CC1310 for wireless debugging and found the communication failure with different package. The detailed information is as follows:

a. The CC1310F128 in 7*7mm package is used as transmitter A, and the CC1310F128 in 4*4mm package is used as receiver B. SmartRF Studio is used for wireless testing, and the data can be received normally.

b. TI EVM board LAUNCHXL-CC1310 Rev-A is used as transmitter C (7*7mm package), CC1310F128 in 5*5 mm package is used as receiver D. SmartRF Studio is used for wireless testing, and the data can be receive normally.

c. The CC1310F128 in 7*7mm package is used as transmitter A, and the CC1310F128 in 5*5 mm package is used as receiver D. SmartRF Studio is used for wireless testing, and the data cannot be received.

Additional information:

1) The screen printing of CC1310F128 in 7*7mm package is CC1310F128 TI 75I CGSV G4.

2) The screen printing of CC1310F128 in 5*5mm package is CC1310128 TI 73 I CKPN G4.

3) The screen printing of CC1310F128 in 4*4mm package isCC1310F128TI 75I AXJY G4.

4) The screen printing of TI EVM board LAUNCHXL-CC1310 Rev-A is CC1310F128TI 75I AXJY G4.

5) The CC1310F128 in 7*7mm package used as transmitter A using onboard PCB antenna, the CC1310F128 in 4*4 mm package used as receiver B using onboard PCB antenna, the CC1310F128 in 5*5 mm package used as receiver D using the spring antenna, and EVM board using matching antenna.

6) All the wireless frequency band is calibrated by a spectrum analyzer at 433MHz.

Can u help to analyze the cause of the problem?

Thanks,

Best Regards
