CC3300: FIPS-140-3

Part Number: CC3300

Tool/software:

I've searched through the forums and I am trying to find out if TI is going to get FIPS-140-3 certs for their wireless modules.

I see some are FIPS-140-2,  but will they ever be FIPS-140-3

I am more interested in a Bluetooth solution not specifically targeting the CC3300

    Hey Martin,

    We have looked into this certification and know it will be a fairly large effort to obtain. We currently aren't pursuing these certifications, but this could change if we are seeing more of a need for this in the market. 

    Note: I am only speaking for the CC3300 and other WIFI devices I support. If you are looking for BLE specifically, then you can maybe ask this question in the Bluetooth forum. Its possible they have a different strategy - not only that but they will also have more variety of products dedicated to BLE.
