Could you explain whether antenna topology has some influence on WLAN calibration process?

Will I get different calibration results if the module is connected to a chip antenna vs. board antenna?

No, because the internal load in the FEM is used for the calibration.

I am attaching an indepth response that Craig Bohren gave in the past for the same topic. Eventhough there is a 20dB "isolation" between the FEM's internal load and the antenna, the antenna impedance with it's inherent reflection (if not perfect 50 Ohms) will affect the calibration eventhough the internal load is selected.
